Vetaiyadu Vilaiyadu வேட்டையாடு விளையாடு

After lot of hypes, Vetaiyadu Vilaiyadu released last Friday, I and my buddies drove all the way to Boston suburbs to watch the movie. The 2 hr drive was justified by an awesome movie. The movie was amazing. Every minute of the movie was exciting; I didn’t feel like it was a three hour movie. Kamalhasan, like always has done an exceptional job.

Unlike other hero of his age, he did not act like some college student who runs around trees and sings duets. He acted like a 40 yr old police officer which really suits him.

The only down side of watching an Indian movie in a theater is the crowd. There was this group of hippies who kept on yapping. People just don’t realize that they are watching the movie in a theater and not in their freaking basement. Leave your kids at home when they can’t watch movie in theaters. It was one of those moments where I hated kids to the core.

Trying out Windows Live Writer (Beta)

I downloaded this new software from windowslivewriter today. It looks cool, the major advantage with this software is that I can see how my blog will look as I am creating it. I can insert images by just draging and dropping, how sweet. Yay! I don't have to fiddle with html code anymore to write a pictorial blog.

It also has 'insert-map' feature which is not as great as google maps. For instance this is the map that I was able to insert with Windows Live writer:

Unfortunately blogger.com doesn't allow custom scripts so am not able to display an interactive google map in this blog at this time. If you want to know more about it, you can check it out at google maps api, will be very useful to put in your website.

Blogging after a while...

I finally got a chance to write, not that I have been really busy but I have kept myself “occupied”. I play a sport everyday. Mondays volleyball, Tuesdays basketball, Wednesdays, Friday and Sunday I play tennis (watch out Agassi, a new Champ is on his way) the rest of the days I play cricket (street cricket). I blame my blog-absence on "Guildwars Factions", I have become an addict :).

I am starting to get bored about my work, there aint much “innovative” to do anymore. Everything seems like a physical job to me now. I know I have cribbed about this in my earlier blog entries but I can’t stop it… I am starting to hate coding (atleast in the same environment)… I guess I have no other choice for now unless I change my job…

A problem with big companies is that they take a LOTTT of time to come to a conclusion, I am supposed to start working on a new project but still the “paper work” is not in place… sometimes it is very good to work in a small company, you atleast get the recognition, and things get done faster…

News: I will be moving to a new apartment next month, planning on sharing a 2 bedroom apartment so that I can entertain my friends, right now I live in a studio which is very small and expensive. Hopefully the new place should turns out good (without any stupid neighbors)
