Car Race

I went to this live car race today. It was amazing. It's funny, I have been living in this town for almost 2 years now and I didn't know that one existed very close to my house. They were all local car racers but all of them were talented. I also got a pit pass to check out the cars closer. Some of the teams were on low budgets and some teams were owned by the drivers themselves. Very far from the professional Formula1 race where they spend 400 Million a year, here they barely spend 40K. Overall it was a good evening. I enjoyed it except for the cold part. NewEngland never gets warm weather.

For more information on the race check out their website:

I don't think I have mentioned this in this blog. I am a big F1 fan. If I remember correctly I have been following F1 for about 11 years now. Wow, time passes fast. This year am hoping the Ferrari's car is fast enough to get a championship to Schumacher. No doubt he is the best driver in the world. Last year he did not have a good car but this year the Ferrari looks challenging. The next race is next weekend on CBS. Only 4 races get to be telecast on CBS so don't miss it if you don't have Speed TV.

Terrible day!!!

Worst day today! I had a gala of a party last night with my peers. We went to nice clubs (well, there is no ‘nice’ club where I live but amongst the ones that we have around here we went to some decent ones) and drank like a fish. It was fun! but that just was last night.

This morning for no reason I got up at 6 AM, I saw my night mare standing right in front of me. The bed bugs are back with a vengeance. I remember when I cleaned my apartment I left my Ferrari flag on the wall, which was a stupid thing to do, the flag was totally housed by bugs. I had to throw it away. To be on the safer side I also got rid of my 400$ Sleepy mattress which is only 1 yr old. I also put all my sheets to laundry, but ofcourse they don’t take credit card at the Laundromat so I have to make a trip to the bank. So my whole morning was like hell. To add to the oil, I forgot a few things at home which I was supposed to bring to work. I thought I would sneak out and go get it from my den, I realized that I just got my car keys and not my house keys so I had to go to the apartment office to grab a spare key and get the stuff out and return the key. All of this started happening from 6 AM. I went to bed at 2 AM last night. I am feeling terrible. What a F’ing day so far. Oh gosh it’s only 12 PM, still got half a day to go, don’t know what’s waiting for me.

Ferrari Flag: 40$
Sleepy mattress: 400$
Laundry: 15$
Loss of sleep: Priceless.

Rash Driving

This is for people who accuse me of being a rash driver. Here is the glimpse of the traffic situation in the city where I learned to drive. BTW its almost 10 yrs now since I first started to drive.

No wonder you pussies get scared of my driving.

Update on my credit score

The bad news is that my credit score is going to stay low for at least 3 – 4 months. The good news is that it will improve after 3 months given that I do not get charged with another fraudulent account.

After a long wait and 100 phone calls, I managed to make the CHASE bank to send me a letter that states that they have found my account to be fraudulent. Now I have to wait another three months for it to reflect on my credit score.

I was planning to apply for a miles card and charge all my expenses on it so that I can get some concession for my India trip but obviously I don’t think I can remember anything that has worked out for me as planned.

Credit History trouble again...

'Credit Scores/History' I think those words are going to haunt me forever. It never gives up.

Couple of years back I had credit fraud and it took me about 6 months to clear it up. I had to make 1000 calls to fix the mess. Finally, I got a written letter from Bank1 saying that they have investigated the account and found it fradulent.

Now after a year it shows up on my credit history again.... WTF... So I call my credit agency to check on it. They said that it could have happened because Bank1 merged with Chase... I am sooo frustrated... My credit score went down by 50 points....

I wish I had enough money to pay for a lawyer so that I can sue their @sses to pay me for my mental stress..

I dont know how long this sh!t is going to take to clear...

Far away from home

Today I managed to calculate the exact distance between where I live now and my home in Chennai, India. It was exactly 8285 Miles or 13334 Kms. Wow I have really travelled some distance.

* The calculations were based on the surface distance between two latitude/longitude points.
